INTRODUCTION

For thousands of years, leather has been our close companion.  In the Stone Age, our ancestor used leather from the animals they had hunted, as clothings .  Since  civilization, elegists and composers wrote their poetry, allegretto, epilogue and stories onto pieces of leather before paper was invented.  Nowadays, leather is now widely used for garment, fashion, apparel, furniture, handbag and different leatherware -- leather has been and will continue to be a part of our life.

It all started in early fifties in Hong Kong, there was a young, tall and bespectacled man named, Mr Lee Deh.  Having worked at several leather companies and traders in Hong Kong, he had realizied the potential of huge demand for leather in the years to come.  Like many aspiring and ambitious men who have dreams of making it big in their life someday, Mr Lee decided to start out on his own.  With the knowledge and experiences that he had grasped over the years, he opened a little quaint looking leather trading house in Hong Kong. His clients were the local footwear and handbag workshops.  Thereafter, with the boom in the garment industry during the 60's, Mr. Lee saw the opportunity to import garment leather for the apparel, industry, thus he went to Japan and introduced Japanese cowhide to the garment manufacturers in Hong Kong.  From then on, he start to source various types of garment leather.  Since then, it has  become a renowned leather trader in this region.
